Easy way to collect pictures and documents
Just added a way for you to send pictures and documents (PDF) to me to append to our family history. Just use the icon labeled "Share Photo/Document" on the individual pages either under the person's name or to the right of the "Add Bookmark." Add what you know and upload the image--accepting facebook pictures now!

Life story by Alva Keeling nee Montgomery
It took awhile, but I finally redid a tape I have of Alva Montgomery telling her life story. It is about 30 minutes long and the stories are great. You can find it under the heading of "Recordings". A great tibit is about 20 minutes through the recording is grandma's honeymoon to the Worlds Fair in 1904 in St Louis. Check http://www.crawforddirect.com/worldfairtour.htm for what she saw.

Time I get this to work!
It has been several months since I did anything with this blog and it is time that I start using it the way I intended.
The big news to report is that the DNA comparison with me and George R Reece is negative. We are not related! That means our common ancestor Abraham Reece is not the father of Elijah Reese. This goes against some family tradition and a published books about Morgan County Tennessee. But now we are against that same old road block. I am hoping that more people submit their DNA samples and we might find a match!
I am now working on revising the web page to match my Roots Magic PC data base and some changes to the web page.
